Texas Rising Star is a voluntary, quality-based child care rating system of child care providers participating in the Texas Workforce Commission’s subsidized child care program. Texas Rising Star Certified Providers exceed the state’s minimum child care licensing standards and, in return, receive valuable benefits. Certification is awarded by “star levels” ranging from Two Star to Four Star.
What are your hours of operation?
Open Extended Hours, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Do you serve meals?
Yes, we are a part of the Child and Adult Care Food Program. We serve breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner every day. All meals are included in weekly tuition.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, we offer Sibling, Teacher & Military discounts. Call for more details.
Do you transport to and from schools?
Yes, our Klein Campus transports to and from Klein ISD schools. Our Spring Campus transports to and from Spring ISD and Conroe ISD Schools.
Do the children go on field trips?
Yes, children in the Pre-Kindergarten class go on educational field trips throughout the school year. During the Summer and even for school holidays, School Age children participate in weekly field trips such as Swimming, Rock Climbing, Bowling, Putt-Putt Golf and many more.
Is the staff trained?
Yes, Alexander’s Academy staff go above and beyond the minimum required training of staff members. All staff have their CPR/First Aid certification and are required to do a min of 30 hours of trainings that include child development, transportation safety, classroom management, outdoor safety, age-appropriate activity planning and many more. Alexander’s Academy staff is encouraged to further their education by achieving their CDA and attending training conferences.
