Our staff is committed to excellence and in the development of the children in our center.  To maintain our commitment to the profession we encourage our staff to obtain training hours and professional certifications to enhance their performance.  All staff go through an extensive orientation period. We cover all of the standards set forth by the State of Texas and all local regulations that govern child care facilities. We also cover all employee policies that we require above and beyond the State laws. Staff must also be certified in First Aid and CPR. All staff maintain 15 clock hours of annual training. Classes range from child growth and development, guidance and discipline to professional development (for example, effective communication, time and stress management).

Research has shown that caregivers who are better trained are better able to prevent, recognize, and correct health and safety problems.

Annual on-going training provides our staff an opportunity to learn the newest techniques for addressing children's behaviors, to discover the latest findings on what children need as they develop, and to refresh and re-engergize their skills.

We feel that staff can never learn too much when it comes to educating your child.
